All business meetings and meals will be indoors unless specified below:

  • Business casual attire recommended for all meetings and meals.
  • Wednesday Dine Around locations may require transfers based upon selection. Attire will be specified for each location - Dine Around information coming soon!
  • Thursday optional activity attire based upon your personal selection - Activity information coming soon!
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the magnificent cobble-stone streets of Lisbon.
  • A light jacket or sweater may be useful for the evenings.
  • Thursday night’s Award of Excellence will be a Black Tie gala. Tuxedos are recommended for the men. Elegant dresses or long gowns are recommended for the ladies.

Event Cancellation

Cancellation notification must be sent in writing to Events@PreferredHotels.com. In the event of a cancellation, the following fee schedule will apply:

Cancellation Policy for Meetings:

  • 50% for cancellation 61-120 days prior to event start date
  • 100% for cancellation 60 or less days prior to event start date
  • First Attendee:
    • € 4,500 – Standard Registration
  • Additional Attendee:
    • € 4,100 – Standard Registration
  • Non-Business Guest/Spouse: € 1,500

Pre and Post Event Accommodations

Guestrooms will be available three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the conference on a space available basis.

Entry Visa Requirements

1. United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom citizens do not need a visa to visit Portugal.

2. European Union (EU) Citizens: Portugal is part of the Schengen Area, which allows free movement across 26 European countries. No visa is required for short stays within this area.

3. Citizens from several countries, such as India, China, South Africa, Nepal, and Turkey, need a Schengen visa to visit Portugal. More information can be found on the ePortual.gov website here.
