Chris Flatt currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Hotel Sales and Marketing at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. In her role, she is responsible for all hotel sales and marketing efforts including meetings, conventions, leisure, hotel marketing, special events and weddings.
Chris began her career in 1984, with Hilton Corporation working in leisure sales. In 1986, she joined Golden Nugget, which then became Mirage Resorts. She has held a number of positions in sales and marketing, opening The Mirage, and then Bellagio in 1998, where she served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing through the sale of Mirage Resorts. In 2002, Chris joined Wynn Las Vegas, which opened in April 2005 and then Encore in December 2008.
Named as one of the Top 50 Female Executives in the travel industry and one of HSMAI’s Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales, Marketing and Revenue Optimization; Chris advocates industry related organizations and actively promotes the City of Las Vegas’ hospitality growth and development. In recent acclaim, she was named as Chair of the 2019-20 Las Vegas Chapter Advisory Board of HSMAI after serving on the Board prior. Chris is also on the Global Hotel Advisory Board for Preferred Hotels & Resorts. She holds honors as a graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy where she was hand-picked for an engaging program that fosters a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community. With a passion for leadership and having a voice to advocate, Chris is committed to being a mentor and she volunteers with organizations that better our local community.
Originally from Southern California, Chris and her family moved to Las Vegas where she has resided her entire adult life. During her free time, you will find Chris at a Vegas Golden Knights game, enjoying the outdoors, playing golf, traveling, or just spending time with her golden doodles, family and friends.
